MTI Awards Nearly $170,000 to Grow New Technology in Maine |

AUBURN, Maine - Maine Machine Products Company President and CEO David MacMahon presents a check to CMCC President Scott Knapp to cover costs of the college's assistance in a grant-funded effort in prototype development and testing of oil and gas measuring tools.
The Maine Technology Institute (MTI) board of directors recently approved 15 Seed Grants for companies to develop products that will advance Maine's innovation economy. These grants will leverage over $310,000 in private matching funds to support new R&D and business plans that will lead to increased economic opportunities statewide.
Precision Manufacturing Technology Complex Measuring Devices ~ Maine Machine Products Company - South Paris This project supports prototype development and testing for down-hole oil and gas measuring tools manufactured from exotic materials including Titanium, Inconel and K-500 Monel.
